[영어] be 동사의 부정문과 의문문

1. 영어 문장 구조의 기본

 - 주어(Subject) + 동사(Verb)

   ex) 나는(S) 밥을 먹는다(V).

 

2. 영어 단어 품사의 기본

 - 명사(이름) : girl, desk, music

 - 대명사 : she, he, it, that

 - 동사(하다, 이다): play, like, love, run

 - 형용사(~한) : pretty, small, big + 명사(명사를 꾸며주는 역할)

 - 부사(~하게) : slowly,, fast, badly + 동사( 동사를 꾸며주는 역할)

 

3. 동사의 종류

 - be 동사: am, are, is

 - 조동사 : will, can, must

 - 일반 동사: be,조동사를 뺀 나머지(love,run...)

He is a student. : ~이다.
He is at school : ~있다.

 

4. be 동사의 종류와 축약형

 I  am -> I'm(1인칭)

 he is -> he's(3인칭)

 she is -> she's(3인칭)

 it is -> it's(3인칭)

 you are -> you're(2인칭)

 we are -> we're

 they are -> they're

 

주어가 3인칭 단수이면 is
주어가 2인칭이거나 복수이면 are

 

4. be 동사의 종류와 축약형_DRILL

 1) I am Emma. I'm from New York.

 2) My car is just over there. It's in the parking lot.

 3) Three cats are in the pet store. They're very cut.

 4) Paul and Emily are singers.

 5) Sarah is my sister. She's at work now.

 6) Cody and I are a couple. We're happy together

 

5. 동사의 종류와 부정문

be 동사	조동사	일반동사
am, are, is	will, can, must	love, run...
am not, are not, is not	will not, can not, must not	do/does/did not love

ex)
He is hungry     -> He is not hungy.
He can run fast. -> He can not run fast.
He runs fast.     -> He runs not fast. (X)
                         He does not run fast. (0)

 

6. be 동사의 부정문과 축약형

I	am + not	I'm not
he she it	is + not	he's not / he isn't she's not / she isn't it's not / it isn't
you we they	are + not	you're not / you aren't we're not / we aren't they're not / they aren't

주어가 3인칭 단수이면 is not / isn't
주어가 2인칭이거나 복수이면 are not / aren't

1) I am not from Japan.

 -> I'm not from Japan.

2) The dress is not in the closet.

 -> The dress isn't in the closet.

3) We are not busy.

 -> We aren't busy.

 -> We're not busy.

 

7. 동사의 종류와 의문문

 ex) 나는 밥을 먹는다. -> ~했냐?, ~했니?

 

 - be 동사(am,are,is): She is ~ -> Is she ~?

 - 조동사(will, can,must): I will ~. -> Will I ~?

 - 일반동사(love, run...): I love ~. -> do/does/did I love

 

8. be 동사의 의문문

I	I am -> Am I ~?
he she it	he is -> Is he ~? she is -> Is she ~? it is -> Is it ~?
you we they	you are -> Are you ~? we are -> Are we ~? they are -> Are They ~?

 

9. be 동사의 의문문에 답하기

 

Yes, I am.
Yes, he/she/it is.
Yes, we/you/they are.

 줄여서 쓸 수 없다.

No, I'm not.
No, he/she/it 's not. / isn't.
No, we/you/they 're not. / aren't.

줄여서 사용이 가능하다.

 

10. be 동사의 의문문_DRILL

1) He is your father. (의문문을 만들고 답하기)
  -> Is he your father?
  -> Yes, he is. / No, he's not. / No, he isn't
2) We are in the same class
  -> Are we in the same class?
  -> Yes, we are. / No, we're not. / No,we aren't
